| Description: | On August 18th and 19th, 2007, Davy Crockett Birthplace State Park will be hosting its Annual “Crockett Days” event celebrating the birth of David Crockett. Activities will include: Re-enactors in period dress demonstrating many of the skills necessary for life on the eastern frontier, Music, food and living history demonstrations. Professional Crockett impersonator, Rick Revel will be on hand to portray David Crockett throughout the weekend and Randal Smith Author of “In the Footsteps of David Crockett” will present a historical talk on Crockett’ life and legend in the parks museum at 5:00 PM on Saturday. The public is welcome to come by to experience this educational and entertaining re-creation of life as it was in the days of our forefathers. Refreshments will be available, provided by Sno-Biz and Pappy’s. Hours: Saturday 9am until 7pm Sunday 10am until 4pm There is no charge to attend this event.
