| Description: | Location: Providence Trails How about welcoming the New Year with a new commitment to fitness? The Resolution Run 5k is your answer. The run is a great way to start off your new (or continued) emphasis on a fit lifestyle. Join the Mt. Juliet Running Club at a civilized time of 1:00 pm on New Years Day, 2012! Mayor Ed Hagerty will be the Master of Ceremonies. SSG Jeremy Chester who served two tours in Iraq will pass out awards. THE RUN WILL BE CHIP TIMED! ***There are NO public bathrooms close to start line*** Additional Information : The 5k will start promptly at 1:00 pm and be held rain or shine. There will be trophies for overall male/female and 1, 2, 3 age group medals. The awards ceremony will take place at 1:45 pmRace Route: http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/view/50260330Race Info: There will be early packet pick up at Dicks Sporting Goods in Providence 12/31/2011 from 1:00-3:00 pm as well as race day from 11:00 am-12:45 pm. Walkers and stroller are permitted, but please start in the back. Pets are welcome but must be current on vaccinations and friendly to people of ALL ages. Post race refreshments are available to all registered runners. All registered runners will receive a race day t-shirt. T-shirt sizes are only guaranteed to pre-registered runners.On site registration and parking: Parking/Registration table will be located at West Wilson Elementary. On site registrants MUST sign a waiver at the registration table. Prices:$25 until December 24, 2011$30 until December 31, 2011$35 day of raceA portion of the proceeds will be donated to Wounded Warrior Project.
