The history of the Maury County Fair is long and illustrious. It began in 1950, as a civic project of the Columbia Jaycees and has continued, uninterrupted for more than 60 years. The Maury County Fair had several locations before finally finding a home at the Maury County Park, which the Fair and Columbia Jaycees were instrumental in securing the property from The University of Tennessee and development of the Park through the years.

-1950 Denham property on Nashville Highway. Now the location of James K. Polk Motel
-1951 At the present location of Maury County Regional Hospital.
-1952-55 At Columbia Speedway Location. Now Northway Shopping Center and adjacent.
-1956-present At The Maury County Park.
