Description:

From Knoxville Boomsday Website:

Boomsday returns to the Tennessee River for another year of thrilling effects and thunderous sounds of celebration!

The nation's largest Labor Day weekend fireworks show will light up the sky over Knoxville in a jaw dropping spectacle choreographed to an original soundtrack. The 27th annual Boomsday Festival is set for Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 1:00pm to 10:00pm on Neyland Drive at Volunteer Landing. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:00pm (even if it rains!) and will create a rumble to remember.

Vol fans love Boomsday because it takes place the day after the UT Football Season kicks off! With all the excitement building around Team 118, no doubt Knoxville is the place to be this Labor Day weekend!

Since 1988, Boomsday has brought hundreds of thousands of people to Knoxville. Over the years, it's evolved into one of the city's signature events, uniting people from throughout the southeast and beyond for a day of food, fun, live music, entertainment and more.

This year's event is shaping up to be BIGGER and BETTER than ever. You don't want to miss Boomsday 2014!
