August 22 and 23, Nashville Tennessee will once again succumb to the tempting aromas of the 2014 Music City BBQ Championship and to the original sounds of the bands of the Nashville Blues Society.

In our 6th year, Music City will again hosts over 100+ professional and amateur BBQ teams competing for over $25,000 in prizes and cash and the opportunity to be the MBN Grand Champion, the KCBS Grand Champion or the most coveted of all middle Tennessee awards the "Grand Ol Porker". And, you KCBS guys, WE ARE a Tennessee State Championship.

This years venue is at the Tennessee State Fairground. Teams, youll love the spacious flat paved team surface and the ease of entry / exit off Bransford Ave. Fans, there is ample parking available in at the Fairgrounds for $5 which supports the Fairgrounds operations.

Entry fee includes Music from the Nashville Blues Society as well as access to BBQ vendors including such greats as Paradise Ridge. The always popular People's Choice will be held in the Grand Ol' Porkers Arena where you will be able to sample and vote on your favorite team. People's Choice tickets will be on sale for $5 at the venue

New this year, we are happy to announce the we have been selected by National BBQ News Magazine (World's #1 Publication Dedicated to the Sport of BBQ) to be the sole host "Taster's Row", which will be on Saturday between 2:00pm and 4:00pm offers a great opportunity to taste competition BBQ with a variety of sauces. Taster's Row tickets will be on sale for $7.00 at the venue.
