Description:

From Rajun Cajun Crawfish Festival Website:

Kick off spring with the 23rd Annual Rajun Cajun Crawfish Festival on the banks of the Mighty Mississippi. One of Memphis' most popular events returns Sunday, April 19, 2015 with something for everyone. In addition to over 18,000 pounds of crawfish, the event hosts a variety of vendors selling food, drinks, art and more! This year, we're adding a new item: spicy boiled shrimp! A special thanks to the Riverfront Development Corporation for hosting the Festival again this year and allowing us to expand our space to include Riverside Drive! As usual, no pets, coolers, tents, handouts, or parking inside the festival area.

Swamp VIP tickets and Gumbo Team slots are now on sale. VIP tickets are $100/person or $175 couple. This year's Swamp will last from noon until 5. Ticketholders will receive all they can eat crawfish and Cajun snacks, beer, and soft drinks as well as a seat in the VIP tent. Twenty four gumbo teams will compete for prize money and the coveted skillet trophy in the annual gumbo cookoff. Team slots are $250 per team. Space for both areas is limited and will sell out, so don't delay! Contact Angela Meekins at (***) ***-**** x 1119 to sign up or to order Swamp tickets.

The Southland Park Gaming and Racing Main Stage, CSpire Beale Street Stage featuring Freeworld, and the Monogram Foods Riverside Stage will keep the entertainment flowing throughout the day!

We'll have plenty of drinks at bars sponsored by The Traffic Club of Memphis, BPI and First Capital Bank as well as plenty of soft drinks from Pepsi. If your kids are looking for something to do during the festival, we have the Kid's Corner on Riverside.
