Air Show Community Partner: HonorAir Knoxville

The Smoky Mountain Air Show Partnership is pleased to announce that the designated community partner for the 2016 air show is HonorAir Knoxville. HonorAir Knoxville, a nonprofit organization that takes World War II, Korean War, and Vietnam War veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built in their honor, will benefit from a portion of air show revenues generated through sponsorships, parking and other air show opportunities.

There is no doubt that the Smoky Mountain Air Show will be a premier aviation event that will have something for everyone to enjoy, said Eddie Mannis, Founder of HonorAir Knoxville. More importantly, the air show allows us to rally around those who have bravely served our country. We appreciate the support of the Air Show Partnership and we look forward to the chance to honor our communitys veterans at the Smoky Mountain Air Show on April 16-17, 2016.
